Corliss Ware-Shaw, Esq. is a seasoned and skilled attorney with more than twenty years of experience. Corliss has vast and varied experience as a former prosecutor with the Shelby County District Attorney’s office, a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee, and the owner of her own firm. Her lifelong passion for all things media and entertainment has led to her representing platinum selling recording artists, Emmy award-winning editors, photographers, film and music producers, writers, and many other creatives. Her years of experience in various areas of practice have also contributed to her success as a Legal and Policy Advisor to non-profit organizations and small businesses.

Attorney Shaw obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis.

Her practice is concentrated in the areas of criminal defense, bankruptcy, civil litigation, and entertainment law.
